Nitro-X
Developed by the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence, Nitro-X Summer Camp introduces middle school students to transportation careers through immersive, hands-on experiences. Hosted by Minnesota State Colleges and High Schools, each week-long camp features technical workshops, RC car construction and customization, professional paint-booth sessions, and VIP industry tours. Participants gain technical confidence, build employability skills, and connect with industry professionals who can become future mentors. The experience culminates in a competitive RC car race that highlights the students’ hard work and accomplishments. By igniting a passion for the field at a young age, Nitro-X helps strengthen the automotive industry from the ground up.
